Finding “You”

“You” are not a character for you to find. There will not be a day when you have an epiphany and realize who you are. Finding yourself is a lifelong journey. If you listen to what those around you are saying, you will hear that we are all “searching” for some part of ourselves. None of us fully know who we are. Some of us have found our passion, some of us haven’t; some of us have found a partner to share our life with, some of us haven’t; some of us know what we want out of life, some of us don’t; some of us have found “home,” some of us haven’t. The point is, we are all searching and growing in some way. No one’s struggle is harder or more painful than anyone else’s. No one’s mountain is higher or more difficult than anyone else’s. It may look like someone else’s mountain is easier, but really, why are you looking at someone else’s mountain?
