Natural Spiritual Healing for Animals

by Jenny Rowe

When I was little, I dreamed of being a veterinarian. I discovered a big problem when my biology class was to do dissections. I just knew I couldn't do it. My mom wrote a note and I was excused from class. This seemed to be the end of helping animals to heal, until I found Natural Spiritual Healing.

I was very skeptical at first but the animals have helped me to believe. Someone told me long ago, that if something works for animals, you know it's real because you can't "talk" an animal into getting better. My horse that was chronically underweight, gained and maintained weight with healing. My elderly cat would show up as if by an invisible cue to receive a boost for her achy joints whenever I attuned to the energy. And the reports of the positive changes from others, including for animals I've worked with at a distance, because they lived too far away or the trip to come to me would have added to their stress.

Natural Spiritual Healing has been brought to the world at this time by Mata Yogananda to help all to heal on any level, body/mind/spirit. Some simple ways to describe the energy are: it's like a boost of unconditional love, or, like the energy that recharges a battery. We can't see it, but it's there. Animals take to healing naturally because they don't have mental hang-ups -- they just sense the energy, say that feels good, and will even move parts of their body that are in need toward my hands.

As a Natural Spiritual Healer, I allow the healing energy to flow through me. It isn't from me; and I don't force it upon any being, rather their need and willingness to receive help, draws it. I also do not hold any specific expectation or wish for what the outcome will be, only that the Highest Good may be done. This challenges me to look deeper into the meaning of "healing" than just the cure of disease. For example, what if an animal had lived in a very unnatural environment and was stifled, then despite being adopted by a very loving family, was still struggling. Add a life threatening disease at an advanced stage being discovered and the animal comes for healing. Of course, the family would most want the disease to be cured. But what if the animal was able to get over the past and fully, joyfully express itself -- I would call that true healing even though the animal later died. Which isn't to say that physical conditions aren't cured, too -- with healing anything is possible. There is a right time to pass for all beings, and having healing can help all involved. Please note that as a professional member of ISRHA (see sidebar) I ensure that my animal clients consult their veterinarian for any medical conditions, so they can have the best of both worlds.

Why do animals need healing? Because they are affected by many things which can manifest as physical illness, behavior problems or lack of enthusiasm for life. With healing they are helped to rebalance and be the best they can be.

Anyone with a love of and desire to help others to heal themselves can learn to transform that love into healing energy.
