Global Unity

Our individual and collective belief systems are all that keep us from a world of peace, harmony, joy and abundance. It is our spiritual destiny to live in harmony with one another. Our divine birthright is one of peace and cooperation.

Most of us are familiar with the John Lennon song “Imagine.” The song is a ray of hope, a vision of what can be, an invitation to think and dream and create a reality that is peaceful, friendly and sane.

“Imagine all the world living life in peace.” If we have the courage, if we have the strength, if we have the vision to embrace the spirit of those words, we can make peace a reality in our time. As another tune says, “All we need is love.”

Those who feed on fear work hard to get us to buy into that fear. There are moments when it works. There are other moments when I remember who I am and what I am about and know, as Churchill once put it, “there is noting to fear but fear itself.”

We are spiritual Beings living in a physical world. We know that earthly death is an accepted collective illusion. Our essence, our spirit, our soul, is alive and well for all time. On a spiritual level we can imagine the worst of earthly fears and know that they have no true power over us.

The new millennium has ushered in new energy, new opportunity and a deeper longing to move beyond fear to love. Some might feel that the Age of Aquarius is nothing more than a song, but if we allow ourselves to Be with the truth of our soul, we know differently. Oneness is our true nature, our ultimate essence and our evolutionary destiny.

A world at peace, a world of Oneness, a world of prosperity and love will be a reality as soon as we accept the possibility of such a world. A small but vocal minority would have us believe otherwise. We need not accept their viewpoint. We need not allow their reluctance to move forward to stop us. Love and peace are real; on some level each of us knows that. By striving each day to practice love, cooperation, understanding and peace, we help change the world.

Let us stop believing that war is an inevitable part of the human experience. Let us stop allowing minor differences to separate us. Let us tap into the depth of our hearts and live the essence of our love. Our reality is peace and our truth is abundance for all. We are One. When we allow greed, deceit, malice, jealousy, fear and selfishness to be part of our world we are not living our truth.

Now is the time, here is the place. There can be no more excuses. There can be no more procrastination. It is time to embrace the energy of the new millennium and move beyond fear to a world of love.
